Easter Fun (late posting)

For Easter this year, we went North to Tremonton & Perry to spend with family.  We came up on Saturday night and had a fun party with my side of the family.  We had a very yummy dinner  and then started onto the FUN.  Lance and I were in charge of the rockets.  Rockets....you maybe thinking, well they were fun.  We had done them in scouts a few months past and had so much fun, that we decided them to try them here.  The kids had a little hard time waiting for the rockets to be made (construction paper, tape, saran wrap, lots more tape).  The final products were well worth the wait and we had to stop them because they would have done it all night.
So here we are admiring the rockets as they are launched.

After the rockets, we made bunny (piggie) banks while the rest of the adults hid the eggs.  It was just perfect light outside because the sun had just started to go down, but enough light to see the eggs.  The kids had a blast and I was glad that we were able to do this with them.

Michael had no troubles finding his eggs and was proud to show them off.

Taking a minute of family time

Then on Easter Sunday we had spent the night at Lance's mom's house and got surprised by the Easter bunny and then got up and dressed for church.  It was the most beautiful day (as I believe all Easter Sundays should be).

Then that afternoon we went to Grandma & Grandpa Fuhriman's and got to spend some time with them.  Kiersten & Luke helped Papa unplant some of their flowers...but at least they looked so darn cute doing it!!!

Good thing grandparents love thier grandkids
Overall, a very fun weekend and we loved the chance to see everyone and spend a little time with them and look forward (like always) to the next time we can get together!!! Love you guys!

Time with the Grandparents

So this past weekend, as you know, was Lance's birthday.  We had the chance to have some of our family come down and spend some time with them.  I just love seeing our parents with our kids.  I think it is so special and since we only see them about once a month, it is nice to be able to treasure those times.  So I put together some of my favorite moments from the weekend.
My dad was really cute and sat and read the kids stories until they stopped bringing him books.  They loved hearing him read them (even if Luke only let him read one page per book).  It was just cute to see the bonding time.

My mom who loves to tickle + kids that love to be tickled
= lots of laughter, smiles & fun.

The kids really do loved to be tickled by Grandma.  I don't know if it is the crazy names she makes up for where she tickles like "Knee Knockers"and etc., but the kids line up for their chance.  I personally think it is all the hugs and cuddles that happen after.

Lance's mom came to spend a few hours alone with us on Sunday during Conference.  The kids loved the chance to spend with her.  They had the wiggles so badly, that we took Grandma on a walk to the "park with one swing".  The kids loved showing off for Grandma.

We just wanted to thank everyone again who made the trip to come and see us this past weekend & for all you did to make Lance's 30th birthday one he won't forget!!!!  Love ya!

Jazz Game

Yep. We got tickets to the Jazz game this past Monday on Row 16! Lance and one of his work buddies go to at least one game a year, and this time they decided to bring me along. Probably because of my nagging of "when do I get to go?", and stuff like that. Lance and his friend that goes by Vanzo (it's a nick name- don't worry) used this ticket service and got the tickets at 1/3 of face value, so when they saw this awesome deal, they could not pass it up.

It was so awesome. You could easily see the players' faces and I swear if we yelled loud enough, they could hear us. It was funny to hear Lance and Vanzo talk in awe over the seats. They talked about how their usual nosebleed seats had nothing in comparison to these seats. Even when the A/C came on and they could feel it, they were just loving the seats more and more. The only problem that I had, was that I was right in front of the shot clock, so I couldn't see when they were shooting foul shots. Oh well, they were just too good to complain about!

Me & Lance at the game.

Lance & Vanzo- they are geeks. What more can I say???

They were just loving the seats so much that they did not want to leave. We stayed until just about everyone was gone, and even listened to Paul Milsap's interview. I am just glad that we got to have so much fun!

Thanks again Mytch & Kenzy for watching the kids so we could go! You are the BEST!

Danny's Softball Game

The other night Danny (Lance's niece) invited us to her softball game. It was a cold day, but we hadn't seen any of her softball games, so this was an invite we could not turn down. :)

We even got to sit by McKenzy (her sister), who had walked the whole way from thier house to the game! Kenzy kept us quite entertained with all her stories, and taking the kids on the grass to run. Notice...you can see the dark, cold clouds in the background that crept up on us, and eventually started to snow on us!

Lance & Reed got a chance to visit and enjoy what little bit of the sunshine that there was during the game. Lance was quite proud of Danny & was very glad that she invited us.
Luke kept Mikey very during the game...playing Jedi's. He wasn't quite so into the game, just playing with everyone that was at the game.

Mikey loved being at the game and in the middle of the fun! He was so proud of his cousin and all the good things that she did.

Kiersten loves to be wherever the big girls are. She would hardly leave Kenzy's sight unless Danny was able to talk for a second. At the end of the game Danny hurt her ankle and Kiersten just wanted to be right there next to her to see if she was okay. Then as we were leaving, she started crying and was telling Danny how much she was going to miss her. What a silly girl.
