99 Days 'til Christmas.....just thought you would want to know!!!!

Mr. President

We were so excited & proud when Michael brought home a letter from his teacher last Friday, saying that he had been a great student and she thought he deserved to be the first class President. Each term in office, is only a week, but during that time they have a lot of "responsibilities" that he loves to do! He gets to lead the other kids to lunch, sit on a special golden chair during reading time & rug time (while the other kids sit on the floor), and lots of other fun things.

For his poster we sat down and made a list of a few things about him. This is what he was most proud of:

1. My birthday is October 5, 2001.

2. I was named after both of my grandpas- Michael Leslie Hansen.

3.I have one brother and one sister.

4. My favorite foods are: tater tot casserole, lasagna, hot dogs, blueberry muffins, Corn Pops (cereal), tacos, and mashed potatoes with hamburger gravy.

5. My favorite day of the week is: Monday because I get to go to PE and I like to work out.

6. My favorite TV shows are: Pokémon, Bakugan, and Phineas and Ferb.

7. My favorite movies are Transformers and Marley and Me.

8. With my family I like to play outside, go camping, go on hikes, and go fishing.

9. I like to play with my friends, play my Nintendo DS, ride my bike, use my roller blades, play computer games, and visit my grandma(s) & grandpa.

10. My favorite part of school is: Computers because we get to use a laptop!

11. My favorite color is blue.

12. My favorite treat is marshmallow popcorn.

13. I have had two sets of stitches, but have never broken a bone.

14. I hate having shots at the doctor’s office!

15. When I grow up I want to be a chef. (this one was news to us!)

16. I have lived in Brigham City, Spanish Fork, and Provo.

17. I like to go to BYU football games with my Mom and Dad.

So I hope you had fun learning more about our President. Don't tell him I said this, but I am glad this only lasts a week....it is already getting to his head! Silly boy.
